My take-aways:

Flexibility wins. Big does not have to mean slow – any organization can be agile if the culture is right.

CI is not just for the good times – the C stands for Continuous. When everyone else is panicking, if you can remain focused on  CI initiatives, your organization will thrive.

And Mr. Fleming wins my nomination for Person Most in Touch with the Eighth Waste:

“If you don’t have people who are engaged and truly interested and feel like they’re being supported, you’ve got nothing,” Fleming says. “You’ve got waste.”
